Brown Wardle Walk for the Change Trust Charity
The students from our Community Voice team have managed to walk up to the top Brown Wardle hill by Watergrove Reservoir (a 400 meter climb) to raise money for the Real Change Trust (homelessness charity).
From the sponsored walk the students have raised over £140 for the trust. Including one of our students who raised 30 pounds on his own! Thank you very very much to all the staff that have sponsored the students you are all very generous! We are planning on involving students in further fund raising after May half term.

Jumble Sale Update
Brownhill Learning Community would like to thank everyone who helped out at the jumble sale on Saturday and also to people who gave donations of clothes & bric-a-brac. It was a great success and we managed to raise a total of £340.52.
All the money that was raised was donated to Hebron Church for the roof repair fund and we would like to thank the volunteers from Hebron as well as the staff at BLC for the voluntary work they put in to this event.
Thank you again to everyone for all your hard work.
