Admission Arrangements

Pupils are referred to Brownhill Learning Community from the Local Authority and schools.  

Some admissions are placed via the Inclusion Panel.   The panel includes the Head Teacher, Deputy Heads, Local Authority Officials and Heads of Rochdale Schools.

Pupils are placed at the site that best meets their individual needs by the Head Teacher.  An admission meeting is arranged with parents/ carers and the child, to go through the admission processes and agree provision, transport and general housekeeping arrangements.

Certain assessments take place upon admission to determine the level at which each child is currently working.
